Loofah Braised in Fish Broth with Clams and Dried Shrimp

Ingredients:

 

 

  • 75g dried clams

  • 40g dried shrimp

  • 1 loofah (sponge gourd)

  • 1 tsp sole fish powder

 

 


 

 

Instructions:

 

 

  1. Rinse the dried clams and dried shrimp to remove any impurities. Soak in water for 10–15 minutes until slightly softened.

  2. Peel and cut the loofah into bite-sized pieces.

  3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté a few slices of ginger until fragrant.

  4. Add the dried shrimp and stir-fry briefly, then add the clams and cook for another 2 minutes.

  5. Add sole fish powder and the cut loofah.

  6. Season with a pinch of salt.

  7. Add water, cover with a lid, and let simmer for 5–6 minutes. Ready to serve!
